Here is something weird. I was idly watching YouTube footage of post-war Germany here

At 2:30 there is a still of a blond German woman in front of some Russian troops. It’s Nina Hoss! Who coincidentally, starred in the Defeated — Netflix series about policing after war in Berlin, set in 1946

These 4 images are Nina Hoss in Defeated.

The last one is the woman in the raw footage — ostensibly shot in 1946 (4:30 in the video)

Either it’s her Granny - or the documentary footage is faked, and they just plugged in an image of Nina Hoss
